ou might be interested to know that employment discrimination is alive and well and for the most part, perfectly legal. It is only when you are treated differently because you belong to a protected class that you have the protection of federal law. Your age, race or gender may not be the factor which affects your hire, advancement, workplace environment or discharge, as a rule.
